Property Management Services Authority Launches “ProMan Everywhere” Campaign Encourages the Public to Submit Real Stories of Property Management Practitioners to Showcase the Industry’s Professional Contributions

The Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) today announced the launch of the “ProMan Everywhere” campaign and the establishment of a thematic website. Through sharing real-life stories of property management (PM) practitioners who actively fulfil their mission as “Property Invigilators,” the campaign highlights how PM practitioners serving in different properties across Hong Kong carry out their duties with professionalism and dedication, working diligently behind the scenes to safeguard properties and provide quality PM services to property users. The campaign aims to deepen public understanding of the PM industry and strengthen recognition and appreciation of the industry’s professional contributions.

The PMSA launched the “Property Invigilator” image ambassador “ProMan.” Last year. “ProMan” symbolises the qualities of PM practitioners as professional and reliable, flexible in response, and dedicated in service. “ProMan” is not merely an image design, but exists in various properties across Hong Kong, providing quality and professional PM services to the public at all times. Their work may appear ordinary and inconspicuous, but at critical moments, they play a vital role in identifying early signs of problems and preventing risks before they arise.

The year 2026 marks the important milestone of the enactment of the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap. 626) and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the PMSA. The PMSA has thus launched the “ProMan Everywhere” campaign and set up the thematic website to share with the public, through short video interviews, blog articles and other collaterals, various stories of PM practitioners who fully embody the spirit of “Property Invigilators,” thereby promoting the professional contributions and positive image of PM practitioners. The PMSA calls on the public to submit and share more real-life stories of PM practitioners via the thematic website, so that the spirit of “Property Invigilators” continues to shine in every corner of the community in Hong Kong, driving the PM industry towards enhanced quality and professionalism.

Dr James WONG, Chairman of the PMSA, said: “Over the past decade, with the concerted efforts of the Government, the PM industry and different sectors of the community, Hong Kong’s PM industry has gradually moved from its traditional role of providing daily services and building management into a new stage of institutionalised, standardised, professional and quality development. Today’s PM industry is no longer simply about ‘managing properties’ or providing only cleaning and security services. It carries the important mission of ‘Property Invigilator’ and makes positive contributions to enabling members of the public to live and work in contentment. Through the launch of the ‘ProMan Everywhere’ campaign, the PMSA aims to share stories of PM practitioners safeguarding the community with professionalism and connecting people with care, outlining the professional and authentic image of Hong Kong’s PM industry, so that these real-life stories can be made known to and recognised by the public.”

The “ProMan Everywhere” thematic website has published real-life stories received by the PMSA from the PM industry in the first phase of the campaign. These include decisive responses at critical moments, thoughtful support over time, patient communication in resolving disputes, as well as proactive work in promoting innovation, energy conservation and carbon reduction, and safeguarding occupational safety and health. In addition, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment, the PMSA has also compiled the commemorative publication “ProMan Everywhere”, which features more than 50 real-life PM stories. Through different themes, the publication presents the diverse facets of PM services, including safeguarding the lives and property of members of the public, professionally responding to emergencies, caring for and attending to the needs of property users, strengthening facilities maintenance and repair, actively mediating disputes and conflicts, keeping pace with the times to enhance service efficiency and standard, promoting sustainable development and occupational safety and health, and working with Care Teams to support property users in need. The publication not only demonstrates the close relationship between the PM industry and the daily lives of members of the public, but also serves as a valuable record paying tribute to PM practitioners across Hong Kong.

Dr WONG emphasised: “I sincerely thank the PM industry for actively sharing one real and touching story after another. Every submission, every experience sharing and every detail is a clear and powerful testament to the proactive work of the PM profession. I hope that through the ‘ProMan Everywhere’ campaign, all sectors of the community can gain a genuine understanding of the PM industry, appreciate the efforts made by PM practitioners behind their unsung dedication in safeguarding properties and the community, and give them the respect, recognition and support they deserve.”
