Clear delineation on communal waste reception areas

The communal waste reception areas of the premises are the enforcement points under the relevant legislation on MSW charging. When disposing of waste at the relevant locations, households are required to have wrapped their waste in designated bags properly or affixed it with designated labels. The PMCs should work with the cleansing contractors to delineate the communal waste reception areas in the premises (e.g., staircase landings, refuse rooms on individual floors/ground floor, central refuse collection points, and oversized waste reception areas) according to the waste collection arrangements of the premises.
