Property Management Services Authority Appoints Two Young Members
As Non-official Members of Publicity Working Group
The Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) announced today that it has, pursuant to the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap. 626) (PMSO), appointed Miss. CHIU Ka-kei and Mr. CHENG Sai-man as non-official members (Youth Members) of the Publicity Working Group under the PMSA’s Finance and Strategic Development Committee through the ninth phase of the Government’s Member Self-recommendation Scheme for Youth (MSSY). The term of the two Youth Members took effect on May 8, 2026 and will end on November 30, 2028.
Under the MSSY, the Government recruits young people who are aspiring to serve the community to join various Government advisory committees, providing them with more opportunities to participate in policy discussions. Dr. James WONG Kong-Tin, Chairperson of the PMSA, said, “The year 2026 marks the significant milestone of the 10th anniversary of the enactment of the PMSO and the establishment of the PMSA. Youth participation in the work of the PMSA can inject new impetus into the innovative and progressive development of the property management (PM) industry. By inviting young people to join the PMSA’s Publicity Working Group as members through the MSSY, we aim to enhance youth engagement and inject more vitality and innovative elements into the future work of the PMSA.”
Dr. WONG added, “The two young members possess professional background in communication strategy and experience in PM practice. They will assist the PMSA in further enhancing the professional status and social recognition of the PM industry, and drive the industry to fulfill its mission as ‘Property Invigilators.’ In addition, the PMSA will also recruit summer interns this year and assign them to work in different positions within the PMSA for gaining in-depth understanding of the PM industry and the operation of the PMSA, contributing to the future development of the industry.”
