In the 2025 Policy Address, the Chief Executive announced various measures to enhance building management and improve building safety. Among these initiatives is a conference co-organised by the Home Affairs Department (HAD) and the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) to share the best practices in building and property management (PM) with different sectors of the community. In addition, the year 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the enactment of the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap. 626) and the establishment of the PMSA. To implement the Policy Address initiatives and commemorate the key historic milestone, the PMSA and the HAD are co-organising the "Property Management Summit" (the Summit) under the theme "A Decade of Professional Excellence, Advancing Together". The forum will review the achievements of the PM industry over the past decade and bring together the strengths of all parties to drive the industry towards healthy and sustainable development.

Centred around the overarching theme of Smart PM, the Summit will focus on three core topics: Professional Invigilation, Innovative Smart Management and Emergency Response. Through interactive exchanges, policy insights, and practical case studies, the Summit will highlight the important role played by the PM industry in safeguarding the safety of buildings and properties, adopting advanced technology to enhance service standards, and responding to unexpected incidents, as well as the public’s expectations of the industry.

As the PM industry gradually develops into a widely recognised profession, PM practitioners must proactively equip themselves and strengthen their professional capabilities, keeping pace with the times and achieving continuous development. The Summit aims to foster deeper understanding and enhance collaboration among key stakeholders—including PM practitioners, government departments, property owners and the public. By pooling the strengths of all stakeholders, the Summit aims to advance the PM industry towards greater professionalism and quality, realising the vision of "A Decade of Professional Excellence, Advancing Together."
